There are so many ways for you to reach your desired customer that your head continues to spin out of control in an effort to get a grasp on the basic concept. Don’t fret; your real estate investing career can take off if you can just find a way to make your marketing message or advertising script pop off of the page or out of the radio. This isn’t easy for some so I’ve come up with a simple way to make this happen for those of you who aren’t exactly the most creative in the world by yourself. Take the following tips and enjoy the bags of cash that you take to the bank.
Offer something to your buyer that will make them want to jump at the opportunity to do business with you over your competitor or the average “Joe and Susan” that are selling their home down the street. If you have taken the opportunity to purchase a home that you see some promise in and purchased it with much less than you think it is worth then spend a little extra to get it off of your hands in a hurry. How do you do this? By giving the buyer, somebody who would be interested in your particular house, a little bit extra that would benefit them.
What I am talking about is this; let’s say that you bought a farm house or a house that sits on a good amount of land in the area, which ad would sound better? An ad that promises a home in great condition with X amount of square footage and 10 acres or an ad that promises a home in great condition with X amount of square footage and 10 acres with a FREE riding lawn mower? This may cost you a little bit of money, but if you just tack it on to your price tag the buyer will still be eager to make the purchase to have the mower in the bag.
Make this concept morph and change into whatever the home is that you are trying to move. If you are selling a home in an area that may be great for a young, single mother then maybe a good, reliable used car will do the trick. Or a washer and dryer that is top of the line, whatever fits the scenario. This obviously doesn’t need to be done, but it could help you in a situation that looks like it could be difficult or is becoming difficult to sell. Good luck in your real estate investing venture!
